One in the morning, wandering through Wal Mart with Alex. His two cousins and two brothers were in the Subway by the entrance. We were, at this time, somewhat following a pretty blond girl, but mainly making a roundabout path to the games and movies.
I stood in front of the PS3 games, staring. I don't even own a PS3. I just like to browse. Alex eventually ducked into the restroom, leaving me standing there alone.
A kid turned the corner and stood about two feet from me. I didn't look at him, just a gray sweatshirt all blurry in my peripheral vision.
He began to sing, "I'm a little tea pot, short and stout. Here is my handle, here is my spout."
I remained stoic.
He began to beat box. With a well developed high hat, a crisp snare, and a strong bass drum. Then he, while laying a beat, sang I'm a Little Teapot.
Once he was finished, he walked away and Alex returned, missing it all.

At work, it was the regular night shift guys. The crew where someone has a bottle, someone has a bud, and boss man is gone.
Clay was working the bar and grill line, complaining from the start because he got called in on his day off. I wanted to tell him, "Welcome to the work force," but figured it wouldn't do anything constructive.
So I was on desserts and salads, Ron, Josh, George were running the hot side and Adam was running the prep kitchen in the back.
The dinner rush was short for the main line, dead, I went on break. When I returned, I clocked in and as I walked back to the desserts and salads to close down George says, "I think someone's locked in the walk in!"
With all the cooks and a few servers gathered in the prep kitchen, George unlocked the walk in. Clay and Adam had been locked in.
Immediately jokes about them needing some alone time, making out in the walk in, all that noise.
Some time later, I was talking about it with Ron and he finally starts laughing and says, "I'm the one that locked them in, dawg! After it was done, I saw that I liked being away from Clay's whining for five minutes. Who the hell doesn't want to work a Saturday, you know what I'm sayin'?"

Josh was born and raised in Fairbanks, but we know him as someone from the lower 48 since he came to the kitchen straight from Orlando. He's an experienced and talented line cook. Everyone holds respect him for his dexterity with knives and his knack for cooking.
For this, Chef has dubbed him with the nickname 'Hollywood'.
While Clay walked through the main kitchen, he saw Josh bending to grab something, revealing his back. I heard Clay yell out, "What the fuck is that, Josh?"
Met with a, "What?"
Clay lifted the back of Josh's shirt to reveal a large blue cross tatooed on Josh's lower back.
"Hollywood has a fucking tramp stamp!"
George, the sous chef, starts gathering people with the line, "Want to see something funny? Josh, come here!"
For this, George has dubbed him with the nickname 'Tramp'.
