nowhereful: Hello.
Sheepdog_McFry: Thanks for the comment :)
Tophat13: I've asked you before not to post on my work. This will be the second time. You see, I want to completely forget that you are here, and you posting on my work is making it impossible to do so. If you cannot help yourself, simply stop reading what I post, and hopefully you'll find it easier to resist the temptation.
Jib: thank you again, so much....and by the way, your poetry is incredibly unique, as well as amazing. Keep it up; reach for the stars.
Jib: thank you XD XD
cleverclogs: I think you don't really need to prove that money doesn't make you happy, because that usually just occurs naturally! However, I feel you as in, "I can't wait for the day were money won't have such a stake in happiness that it does right now." Thanks for reading/commenting!
Jib: My mind needs an ice cream too. Badly. Just wanted to let you know that your posts in that thread in the cloister are very interesting -- especially the latest one, where you covered the idea of dualism and provided examples for support -- all very, very interesting stuff. And I completely agree with the idea uh...well, I call it the "Tower of Babel." Not an original, I know ;) But really, everyone's saying the same thing, it's just that certain cultures are better suited to say the same thing in a certain way to their certain people. I think a lot of problems are arising now especially because 'world religion' is forgetting that all the older religions -- Buddhism and Christianity, for example -- were society-based. Buddhism preaches the idea of walking alone and being detached and self-reliant, but as far as I know, Buddhist societies have generally been more peaceful, and have had generally good amounts of sociability. Now I know why sitting alone in a basement in near monastic isolation for the past some-odd years was perhaps an 'inaccurate' idea, the repercussions of which I'm still suffering, or perhaps just starting to suffer! For joy :) But yeah, hey, great, great posts, and that thing about your brain/mind (I can't remember which you said) needing an ice cream completely hit home with me. I think it's that whole Myers Briggs thing, or however you spell it -- you know, mental functions and personality typing, and how when your weaker functions are called upon, you get stressed out, and 'shadow functions' can come into play. So you can get really violent and angry, which I do a lot, but I'm wondering now if a 'shadow function' can be wanting to go cry to someone and fall asleep with them like a baby. And yes, with an ice cream. Because I love learning and thinking, but for God's sake (quite literally, maybe!), enough is enough sometimes! ...hm. Well, hey, cookie dough or peppermint or what? Favorite flavor? :D I like ice cream!
Wind_Sun_Rain: Thank you Jib! You have some very insightful comments and work as well. I really like the way you express things, I relate well to your work. As an example when you described the hornet dying and how you wrote that you felt you might die tomorrow so you had to get it out, I think a lot of people have felt that way, but don't somehow have the guts to say it or think to.Warm when you say my words made you happy, another thing I like that I've observed about you. You seem like you're very generous with your feedback. So thank YOU!! : )
Jib: Read your comment on ElanSurtax's entry (I thought it was a refreshing take on something so often stale as well, by the way -- love her writing style), and noticed this: "But empathy is hollow without the strength of a conviction and subsequent action of change to make things better." Just had to let you know that really rang true, and it made me happy to read over that thought. The whole comment was very well put and definitely, definitely insightful, and that one part in particular just stood out to me. So thanks =]
