i'm glad you like my poetry though I will laways feel slightly sub par to your works which i admire.Jib: I love how sensitive haiku are, too, in terms of how they respond so hugely to the tiniest additions or subtractions and the arrangement of the images in addition to the exact words used to describe them; for this reason, I appreciate your comment even more, because -- just like writing them -- receiving feedback on them works in the same way...that is to say, even the tiniest thing (the word vibrant) has a HUGE impact on the approach for the poems. So thanks again, it's much appreciated!
Jib: Thank you very much for the comment; I will take that into consideration. More vibrant...I think I know what you mean. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm gathering (as I read over those again) that the imagery isn't "there." They're much more psychological than most other haiku I've written....I know what you mean! That's very interesting advice, actually, and yes, I will definitely keep that in mind. Sorry I'm kind of rambling here, but I would like you to know I appreciate your criticism and that it's given me lots to think about and a lot more new ideas to play around with. VIBRANCY...or as one of my old friends used to say, FLAVOR! Gotta have FLAVOR!
