It's a place I used to go when I was a kid, and I used to play on that hill -- did that till one day the owner yelled at me and threatened to call the police for walking on "his land," and that place is just at the end of a cul-de-sac. Cure: I read it just now. I like being surprised by having comments I wasn't warned of, though.
leel: It is text, actually. We had to have some elements of collage in the paintings, so this was one of the things I used. It's backwards and upside down - I peeled if off the page with polymer medium. I'll tell you a secret: it was supposed to be text from my favorite book (which looks cool cause it's russian) but the day I was doing it I somehow forgot my pages at home.. so it's just random wordz..
