cleverclogs: Thank you for reading! And things are actually getting a lot better. Ironically, when I was at my worst I was writing the humor. At that time, I couldn't get through with writing my heart-felt works, so I tried getting some comic relief. Apparently depression tickles (hah). Thank you for your concern, I hope all is well.
cleverclogs: Hah, I'd have to side with the contrary. It was merely a product of timing.
cleverclogs: Agreed. By the way, I like your new look! Black is the new Pink!
cleverclogs: Oh yeah! I actually was introduced to that in a workshop, but forgot about it until now! Thanks for reading, commenting, and posting that link!!! I'll submit to that site for sure!
Jib: Math makes me really tired too :(
cleverclogs: Ah the title, well in the piece it's musing on oblivion so in that aspect I thought that using the word "utopia" in the title would help contribute to that theme. I also got it from Focault's concept of Heterotopia, which explains how a space can be both imaginable and real at the same time and how an object like a mirror functions as such...(although his scope is far beyond mirrors haha).
Jib: stay tuned!!!
Oakheart: I've been swamped with school stuff. And when I do get a break I end up spending it sleeping or fitting in time to hang out with friends. I'll try to start writing again soon, though.
cleverclogs: Thank you ever so much for reading! By the way, you really know how to make a boy blush. Hope you're not getting stuffed into walls, and what not, by your lab colleagues!
leel: but... I like that class... actually I'll probs go home that weekend, I have a lot of projects due at the end of october, so that'll probably be the next time I can go back, sorry :(
leel: eep i can't make it, I have class til 4:30 on fridays and even if by some miracle i get to CT around 8, it's probably gonna be too late to start leaving for boston :(
leel: What day? October is gonna be super busy for me, I probably won't be able to lose a weekend :(
cleverclogs: Haha, yes, I agree! It always helps me to envision the author while reading!
leel: and I just got your text, my phone turned back on, good night -_-
leel: But that's the only way I can get to the city... I have class tomorrow... It'll be fine, don't worry!
leel: Oh I don't remember if I emailed you about this, but my second book arrived yesterday. Also I'm really low on texts, so if you need anything in the next three days, please call instead. And save me some CM!
cleverclogs: Yes, I decided I might as well show my face. I figured it would be more "community friendly", The old picture was a joke, as it was taken from this ridiculous movie called "The Room".
cleverclogs: I'm jealous!
Jib: There's something that strikes me as cruel about the whole thing; I guess once we get there, the suffering behind won't matter, but it's hard for me to understand why so much torture is necessary if the point is just to undo everything we do that causes that torture in the first place. So it's a mix of feeling guilty about 'not trying to be like a child,' failing to fulfill the personal obligations that supposedly lead to peace and joy from 'letting go,' and so on and so on...sometimes I just feel like the only reason I'm alive is to be punished, but I don't know what I did wrong in the first place. About your comment, then: it definitely isn't just you -- I had a difficult time leaving that journal up there after feeling miserable nearly immediately after posting it. But as a last note, there's a sweetness in suffering that I can't explain...I hope to talk more about that later. I've written enough for now...! Thank you for once again reminding me that my mind isn't as severed from humanity as I usually feel like it is. Let me know how your studying is going and if you've been doing all right lately, then, okay? Take care =]
Monkeyofdoom: Oh, wow. I saw you in the online users section and didn't recognize the name, so I checked out your profile. You have one of the more awesome LoDB-contribution portfolios I've seen.
Jib: You're welcome XD And thank you for the comment! ;) Reading that over made me feel really warm, and that's always something to be cherished...particularly during this August, which is unusually cold :dunno: Still trying to figure that one out <_<
Skull: So, a minute out and you wouldn't have been interested? :p
amoureux: thanks for the comment! =)
Skull: An umbrella... that's genius! :concur:
leel: okay
leel: what time would you be stopping by? I'm sure I could pencil you in, if you really wanted to :p
leel: I wore your longsleeved dress today and everyone said I was super cute. Yay!
leel: I'll probably be home around the 3rd, though technically check out date is may 5th, but i dunno... I don't know if i want to see them... I couldn't handle the eye liner.
leel: sweet. Get on that, or something :P
leel: how much?
leel: What is it?
Ozean: hey there! Thanks for the nice comments on the poetry arena page.
Tigerlily: hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
leel: uh ... lol.
leel: well? what is it?
leel: You should fill out your biography/more info section. You're quite the mystery atm.
leel: Oh heh oh well
jak: I don't know, it wasn't me, and I don't know how to change it to gemini. Unless I change my date of birth... Eh.
leel: Cancer? since when o.0
jak: Thanks!
