Granted, I don't know a lot about anything of these bands except for a few, like Black Veil Brides. I can find joy in their music though.
I'm into heavy metal, screamo, emo, rock, punk, and things along those lines. Although, I can't take much of death metal and things that are too heavy like Suicide Silence, though I still value their music.
I love slow, acoustic songs by rock bands; Miserable at Best-Mayday Parade, Saviour-Black Veil Brides, etc.
"The function of music is to release us from the tyranny of concious thought."
What I like to read/have read:
Horror, Romance, "Physcological Problem Stories" (lol)...
If I Stay-Gayle Forman
Cut-Patricia McCormick
Ghost Hunting-Jason Hawes & Grant Wilson (Ghost Hunter as seen on Sci Fi)
I enjoy apparition stories. lol
I don't really care for fantasy and magic and all that kinda stuff.
Favorite movies/TV shows:
Movies: Paranormal Activity (1, 2, & 3), Paranormal Entity (it was hilarious lol), Barnyard: The Original Party Animals (I also enjoy the series spin-off.), The Killing (a short film developed by my best friend, her best friend, and I), Alice in Wonderland
TV Shows: SpongeBob, MTV Cribs, Blues Clues, Franklin, Little Bear, Lil' Bill, That 70's Show
My favorite activities:
Writing, reading, thinking... being with friends... playing guitar and bass... singing... that covers it.
Best experience:
I don't really know. I'm sure it has yet to come, but as of now it has to be a time that I spent with my best friend.
Worst experience:
Hm... you know... I don't really know. School. That's it. Just school. Which means I'm currently endurring my worst experience.
There's another one, but I'd rather keep it to myself.
Worst fears:
Love, hate, and all that fill their place.
Guns, knives, and broken lives.
...You see what I did there??? lol
...But it's true... though I don't fear those with broken lives, I fear having a broken life.
My dreams and ambitions:
Well, the other night I had a dream that I was almost killed by large poisonous worms, then went to a seafood buffet, then yelled at my best friend's old "friend" about their previous "friendship."
"Why did you try to get her to not like me?"- "Friend"
"She never liked you!!!!!!"- Me lol
When I was around four years old, I had a dream that Winnie the Pooh characters were floating in my grandparents barn in large pink bubbles. I asked them if I could try it and they all said, "Nooooooo! You'll pop iiiiiiiit!" I started crying then.
I also had a dream where little robotic monsters were trying to kill me.
And a dream where an old Chinese man asked my mom to come inside so he could kill me and she was like, "Oh, yeah, she's just back in her room..." I started yelling at my mom as I ran through the house screaming.
Yeah... I'm scared to have dreams...
Also, I had a dream I jumped off the roof of a hospital and waited a few hours before anyone cared enough to stop and take me inside.
And I've had numerous dreams where my friend(s) has/have abandoned me.
What I'm thinking right now:
I'm always thinking. It changes every second. Most of the time my mind is on one or all of these few things: Music, Band, Friends, Art, School, Emotion
I want to meet people like this:
I don't know... RANDOMLY!
If you want to meet me, this is how to say "Hello":
Backwards... you know, like OLLEH!
Oh, and if it's a guy who has flippy hair, he should flip it too. lol
Favorite subject in school:
English or Chorus. I always goof off in Chorus.
If I could have any superpower, it would be:
I want to be emotionally and mentally invincible.
Or rewind time... or be invisible.
"If I was invisible... but wait, I already am."- Clay Aiken lol
My most cherished virtues:
I can be a pretty good listener. I'm not good with words (unless I write them) or advice, but I'll listen to you whenever you need someone, even if I don't know you very well. Heck, if a stranger walked up to me and said, "Hey, you wanna grab some lunch with me so I can tell you how jacked up my life is?" I might say yes.
Clubs/organizations I belong to:
Chorus, a band called The Anti-Culture, and BKB
Shows/performances I have been to:
Battle of the Bands 2011
Anything else?:
Praying for what your heart brings,
Thoughts of escape and bloodshot eyes.
You're barely sleeping, no longer dreaming.
Now what you do to feel alive,
Rise up and celebrate your life.
We're not alone in our ritual.
Sing for what you feel inside,
becoming one with our ritual.
Singing songs of the old days,
try to remember what's gone by.
Stronger in new ways,
don't care what they say.
This is your life.
It's time to rejoice.
Rise up and celebrate your life.
We're not alone in our ritual.
Sing for what you feel inside,
becoming one with our ritual.
Our destiny is what we learned.
Together wanting something more,
their misery and demons burn,
a feeling that's worth fighting for.
Rise up and celebrate your life.
We're not alone in our ritual.
Sing for what you feel inside,
becoming one with our ritual.
---Ritual by Black Veil Brides (Yes, I did feel the need to put the lyrics to my favorite song in the "Is there anything else?" box. lol)
